Global Rail Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and organisedPROJECT COORDINATORto join our dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our various rail infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Project Manager in the overall coordination and execution of project activities
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports
Coordinate and attend project meetings, taking accurate minutes and following up on action items
Support the procurement process by assisting with the preparation of purchase orders and vendor management
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Proficient in using project management software (P6) and MS Office applications
Knowledgeable in project management methodologies and best practices
A team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
