Project Engineer

UMJ Engineering is currently looking for Project Engineer/ Project Manager with the following requirements. This is a on-site role as a Project Engineer/Project Manager located in Johor Bharu, Malaysia.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. 3 years or above working experience in project engineering, preferably in firefighting systems Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to firefighting systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software. Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus Willing to travel and can work under pressure Possess problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills High self-discipline, independent and must be able to work overtime as needed JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Manage and supervise projects focused on firefighting systems. Collaborate with clients, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. Evaluate and analyze project requirements and design specifications. Provide technical guidance in the selection and procurement of firefighting equipment and systems. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with timelines and deliverables. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify adherence to project requirements and safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for the installation, commissioning, and testing of firefighting systems. Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
