We are currently seeking a distinguished Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly trained in engineering with a proven track record in project or program management. This person must be an outstanding communicator, exceptional leader, and effective strategist. The Project Engineer will be responsible for maintaining our standards of excellence and ensuring projects are delivered with the utmost attention to safety and quality.
Objectives of this role
We are looking for an accountable Project Engineer to oversee all engineering and technical disciplines involved in our projects. You will be responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting, resource management, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities Project Planning: Develop a detailed project plan including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project team members, including subcontractors.Coordination: Coordinate with various teams (design, manufacturing, construction/implementation, and maintenance) to ensure project goals are met.Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders. Prepare and submit necessary deliverables for client approval, such as product catalogues, datasheets, drawings, and schedules.Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors. Attend site progress meetings and submit timely progress claims and reports.Problem-solving: Anticipate, identify, and resolve technical issues or problems that arise during the project. Required skills and qualifications Qualifications: Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Two or more years of experience in project management, engineering, or implementation is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training and guidance will be provided.Experience: Knowledge and experience in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.Additional: Understanding of compliance, quality assurance guidelines, and best practices.
