Sanjung AMS Sdn Bhd focus on advanced automation solutions in Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asia region. We are currently seeking an Electrical Automation Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience in automation control or electrical engineering, with a strong focus on project execution and technical support.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support, including system design and proposal development.Execute automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Conduct site assessments, design electrical schematics, and program automation systems. Perform on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and provide technical support for automation projects.Familiar with various PLC, SCADA, MCC, and variable frequency drive (VFD) products and integrate into automation systems.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Prepare and review technical documentation, including project specifications, drawings and user manuals.Manage project deliverables, schedule, and resources to ensure timely project completion.Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical automation projects, with a focus on project execution, technical support and services.Proven experience in designing, programming and commissioning of automation or electric systems, including PLC, SCADA, MCC, and VFD applications.Familiarity with industrial standards and regulations, such as IEC, ISO, and NEC.Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar design software.Strong knowledge of office software and project documentation tools.Excellent communication skills in both English and Malay.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia and the Southeast Asia region for on-site work. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with major automation platforms (e.g., SIEMENS, Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation).Demonstrated project management experience in industrial automation.Familiarity with digital transformation and IoT applications in industrial settings.Industry-relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are advantageous.
