JOB PURPOSE
Drive, manage, and control Marine Repair project deliverables to enhance project management capabilities. Optimize MMHE resource utilization, exercise strict cost control, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer satisfaction. Ensure progress payments are recovered as per contract terms to achieve maximum profit. This effort aims to maintain and strengthen MMHE's standing in the Marine Repair industry and advance its goal of becoming a leading marine and heavy engineering organization of choice.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drive, direct, and control projects to ensure deliverables meet profit targets, are completed on schedule, within budget, comply with industry standards/regulations, and satisfy customers.Strategize, manage, and allocate project team work, whether by MMHE or third parties, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting all specifications and requirements.Manage third-party contracts to ensure work aligns with client specifications and requirements, minimizing risk.Strategize and oversee project procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of products within budget.Manage all necessary facilities and utilities for efficient project execution.Develop and maintain business relationships with clients, authorities, partners, and associates to ensure prompt delivery of products/services and expedite payment recovery.Strategize and control project schedules and contingency plans to ensure timely completion and adherence to customer specifications.Control project costs, manage any cost overruns, and negotiate change orders with clients to minimize risk.Ensure all parties adhere to contract terms and negotiate with clients to minimize cost implications.Ensure timely and accurate issuance of invoices and recovery of progress payments as per contract terms.Provide inputs for pre-qualification tenders and competitive bids to meet client budgets and schedules.Offer technical support and clarification when necessary.Implement project improvement initiatives to enhance service and productivity.Review project progress and performance reports, recommending corrective measures for delays, cost overruns, or customer dissatisfaction to MMHE management and clients.Issue Resolution: Address issues affecting project schedules, including frequent design changes, procurement plans, and workforce allocation.Lead HSE initiatives and promote a safety culture within all project departments and teams.Maintain a positive work environment that fosters cohesiveness and commitment among project team members, promoting a mindset of excellence to improve productivity and maintain high service standards.Provide direction and guidance to develop future leaders within the project team for outstanding performance and organizational growth.Manage changes in work scope affecting project schedules and workforce allocation.Control project costs and manage unpredictable conditions to maintain profit margins.Motivate staff in a demanding environment while maintaining harmonious relationships, instilling shared values, and improving integrity among a diverse workforce.JOB REQUIREMENT Degree in Engineering.8 years' experience in Project Management for Marine Repair works.2 years experienced in Conversion Project, i.s FSU/FSO/FPSO.
