Responsible for all matters relating to the project.
2. Primary Duties
Represent and be a focal contact for all communication between the company and clients, including subcontractors and other third parties.
Implement the project in accordance with the Project PEQP and contract requirements.
Review and agree with the client on formats for project documents (reports, specifications, datasheets, etc.) and drawings at the onset of the project.
Approve and endorse all project documents and design deliverables and ensure timely issuance according to the project schedule.
Manage and monitor project manhours/costs and all administrative matters related to the project (e.g., approval of timesheets and overtime applications, project expenses, planning of manpower, document delivery via courier service, etc.).
Promote a close working relationship between company and client teams and maintain excellent public relations.
Responsible for the approval of all project documents and drawings prior to issue to the client.
Obtain and evaluate performance feedback from the client and recommend necessary actions to management, compiling lessons learned for future reference.
Initiate invoice preparation by providing the related supporting documents (e.g., technical delivery transmittal, milestone certificate, etc.) to the Finance Department. Assist Finance with follow-up on invoice matters with the client until payment is secured.
Coordinate contract closure (e.g., closeout report, archive the project directory on the server, and deliver project documents for archiving).
Review and endorse project personnel annual leave applications as required.
In the capacity of Proposal Coordinator (as required by Supervisor), gather and review technical input for the preparation of Service Proposals.
Undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competency, as required by their supervisor from time to time.
Integrate and/or consider Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) elements in all activities to ensure the company's QHSSE objectives and targets are met.
3. Job/Cost Impact
Acts as the main interface in converting the project from concept to detailed engineering, working within project budget requirements. Serves as the coordinator for all project-related inter-discipline engineering activities. Work is normally reviewed by a supervisor.
4. Decision Making Authority
Decisions are limited to the scope of project technical specifications within contract requirements.
A recognized engineering degree in any discipline. Registered as a professional engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia or Institute of Engineers Malaysia or other board of professional engineers recognized by BEM or IEM. Minimum 15 years of experience in planning, managing, and executing oil and gas projects. Minimum 5 years in a senior management position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
