The data we generate provides our clients with the information they need to make critical, well informed, business decisions.UTEC are looking to hire a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis to the their team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.The Project Manager is responsible for the effective planning and smooth execution of assigned projects whilst ensuring high QHSE standard, cost effectiveness and good utilisation of available resources.**Duties/Responsibilities**- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Company Integrated Management System (IMS)- Monitor all matters related to Occupational Health, Working Safety and Environmental Protection in accordance with the Company Integrated Management System (IMS)- Manage assigned survey content on marine offshore construction projects within the APME region, ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with Acteon's Quality Assurance procedures, QHSE policy and best business practice in the most effective and timely manner- Always ensure project acquired data and results adhere to customer's defined specifications and objectives- Keep track of project expenses and running budget throughout the entire life span of assigned project. Project Manager will be required to produce monthly project accounting including project running profitability, revenue and forecast- Responsible for timely submission of timesheets and invoices- Key communication and focal point for Client of assigned project throughout the life cycle of the project; representing Company to discuss and reaching agreement with Client on project scheduling, technical specifications, achievable results quality, commercial variation order, data processing and reporting objectives, and final deliverables formats and timing- Documenting and sharing lesson learn with relevant field personnel and UTEC senior management- Working closely with business development and tendering team during commercial handover of assigned project, prepare project documentations and commercial planning to ensure a technically and financially successful project will be achieved- Working closely with data processing and reporting team members to ensure project deliverables are meeting project specification and submitted to client in a timely manner- Retain good and regular communication with Client and Client representative to promote Company services whenever possible; and sharing acquired information on market, Client, and competitions with Commercial Manager- Retain good and regular communication with supporting companies, service and consumable providers and equipment rental companies; ensuring best quality, economical and suitable services / consumables and equipment is used for the project- Review of project operation manuals, installation manuals and company/ client specifications to draw out survey execution plan- Responsible for the production of survey procedures, quality plans, task plans and MOCs- Review/ QC and ensure project acquired data and results adhere to customer's defined specifications and objectives- Identify personnel requirements (manning level and skill/experience) and equipment requirement as per client/ project specifications i.e raise Project Notification- Review of offshore personnel CV and completion of client's skill matrix; interview the personnel if required- Assist with equipment preparation in the workshop and vessel mobilisations when required- Responsible for obtaining feedback from client on the project performance**Requirements**:- Minimum MS / BS degree in related field- Minimum 10 years relevant experience within the offshore survey industry- Experience executing and or managing offshore projects is preferred**Job Snapshot**:**Location**:- Kuala Lumpur- Malaysia-**Job Type**:- Projects & Operations-**Date Posted**:- 19/11/2023
