HIRING GLOBAL PROJECT MANAGER
Reporting line: Group Operation Director
ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the implementation of concurrent projects globally with Operation Teamview on the status and risk, so as to offer on-time advice or intervention to resolve issues early.
Work closely with Group Operation Director & provide accurate data to make the right decision.
Resource utilization: Maximize the utilization of resources by balancing cost, speed, and quality across teams of project managers and project engineers in various countries.
Project Profitability: Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and continual improvement in efficiency to drive down man-days and cost.
Project Governance: Implement policy, process, methodology, and tools to achieve consistent professional implementation practice globally and raise implementation quality.
Process: Streamline processes and implement methods and tools to support these processes.
Competence Development: Responsible for the continual knowledge and competence development of project managers and project engineers.
Support: Enforce a proper handover process to the first line support team.
Customer Advocate: Meet with key customers from time to time to raise customers' trust and confidence in our company, our products, and our ability to deliver.
Leadership: Exhibit good leadership capability with strong planning and follow-up skills, mentorship, work allocation, monitoring, and status updates to the Project Team.
Assist in the identification, assessment, and resolution of complex functional issues/problems. Interact with clients frequently around specific work efforts/deliverables.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements5 years or more of project management experience.
5 years or more of people management experience.
Experience in IT / SI / Software background.
Experience with the hotel/hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
Good command of English; competence in other languages would be an advantage.
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, IT, or Sciences is desired.
Leadership skills: People management, global view, critical thinking.
