This role provides exposure to real-world challenges, fostering professional growth and preparing participants for long-term career success.
Participants will be stationed at various locations inSabah , working at thePan Borneo Projectand other related offices as well as state and district-level government offices.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design, analysis and implementation of engineering projects.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with technical standards.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
Assist in monitoring and managing project costs, budgets, and quantities.
Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Provide technical input during the planning, execution, and monitoring phases of projects to ensure safety and cost-effectiveness.
Organize and manage company documents, records, and correspondence.
Assist with daily operations by coordinating meetings, events, and schedules.
Support HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
Contribute to improving office processes and maintaining overall organizational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations.
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and statements.
Support the accounts team with invoicing, billing, and reconciliation tasks.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Location:Various locations in Sabah
Contract:8 months (January 2025 start date).
Working Days:5 or 5.5 or 6 days a week.
Working Hours:Depending on the operating hours of assigned location.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Engineering:Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Quantity Surveying & Safety & Health:Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Safety & Health or related fields.
Human Resource & Administration:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
Finance & Accounting:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Strong academic performance and a proactive attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant software tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Actively involved in extracurricular activities during university studies.
