Details of the offer

Responsibilities:
Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans;
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis;
Review quality of purchased products;
Track orders and ensure timely delivery;
Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements;
Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements, control stock levels, and place orders as needed;
Operating recording systems to track all movements of goods, ensuring reordering and restocking at optimal times;
Record order details (e.g.
vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases;
Maintain updated records of purchased products;
Liaise with local/overseas suppliers, especially from China, to ensure that purchase quality, quantity, delivery, and price are correct;
Liaising with other departments (warehouse) and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation;
Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions;
Establishing and managing budgets, controlling expenditure, and ensuring the efficient use of resources;
Planning and directing daily operations.
Requirements:
Fluent in Mandarin (dealing with China suppliers), English, and Bahasa Malaysia;
Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Diploma, or any equivalent certificate;
At least 2 years of working experience in the Purchase field is required or equivalent for this position;
Good negotiation skills, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and adaptability to engage with people at all levels;
Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, excels at interpersonal skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges;
