Purchasing Assistant

Details of the offer

Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
Continuously source for new suppliers.
Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
Liaise with suppliers on sample development and defect part replacement.
Execute order planning, PO issuance to suppliers, and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Update the respective departments on all parts and raw materials' estimated time of arrival.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or degree or its equivalent with at least 2 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, ERP software.
Ability to work as a team and independently.
Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of management and operational employees.
