Purchasing Executive/Buyer

Summary Description Perform various purchasing activities and assignments requiring a high level of professional communication, and resourcefulness. Supports the company operations by organizing and expediting the requested material.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities Issue purchase orders via approved purchase requisitions requested by multiple departments at KEI. Monitor the open order report for due dates and expedite accordingly. Timely communication with KEI receiving team regarding all receipts to include material and services.Timely invoice discrepancy resolution with Shared Services A/P team and follow up with supplier and requisition owner.Process and set up new supplier with the SMD team (supplier maintenance department).Maintain and manage current supplier changes with the SMD team.   Collect new supplier on-boarding documents and maintain in SharePointProvides feedback regarding delivery and availability of the purchase order.Quarter open order report review and clean up.Escalate and communicate delivery, pricing, and terms challenges to the requestor.Performs any other duties assign from managementPosition Requirement Degree in any discipline or Diploma/Purchasing certificates.Min 1~2 years' experience in Purchasing of Direct / Indirect materials.Good negotiation and communication skills.Must be good in computer spreadsheet applications.Report making and compilation.Sense of urgency.Knowledge/Hands on MRP/ERP system. Experience in  Oracle would be an advantage.         Integrity.
