Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactivePurchasing Executiveto oversee our vendor management and procurement activities, specifically focusing on suppliers in China.
This role is pivotal in ensuring an efficient supply chain, managing vendor relationships, and securing cost-effective purchasing solutions to support our cutting-edge operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers in China to meet the company's operational needs.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to secure favorable procurement deals.
Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement requirements and align purchasing strategies.
Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Proactively resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality concerns.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations in China.
Prepare reports on purchasing metrics, vendor performance, and cost savings initiatives.
Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations, preferably with exposure to the Chinese market.
Language Skills:Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; English proficiency is an advantage.
Technical Skills:Experience with ERP systems, procurement tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of procurement standards, supply chain management, and local regulations in China.
