Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Bachelor degree in Business studies/ Engineering/ Supply Chain related field or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management.
Preferably working experience in project manufacturing & assembly environment.
Mechanical or Electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
Strong communication skill & attention to details.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
Ability to work well in a team & adapt to a fast paced environment.
Tasks & responsibilities
Source, select & negotiate with suppliers based on cost, quality & delivery to obtain the best value for goods & services in line with project timelines.
Manage purchasing process from purchase requisition, purchase orders to delivery, ensuring timely availability of all required materials.
Coordinate with suppliers on delivery, non-conforming parts & warranty claims.
Delivery & maintain strong relationships with suppliers & oversee suppliers on-time delivery & quality performance.
Support tender team to obtain latest cost from suppliers.
Ensure purchasing & procurement activities comply with the company's policies & procedures, code of ethics, values & adherence to relevant laws & regulations.
Other duties & assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
