Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize costs and quality of materials and services.
Identifying and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers.
Negotiating contracts and purchase agreements with vendors and suppliers.
Monitoring and tracking inventory levels of materials and supplies.
Managing the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project needs and requirements.
Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure ongoing availability of materials and services.
Analyzing purchasing trends and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Job Requirements:
A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Several years of experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably in the property development industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in purchasing and procurement management software and tools.
Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
