Ensuring our production operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in Supply Chain Management & Purchasing of E&E Manufacturing Industry of production activities, contributing to our commitment to quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Procure Goods and Services:Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for materials, goods, and services required by the organization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Supplier Management:Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
Price Negotiation:Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company while ensuring quality standards are met.
Inventory Control:Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and timely reorder of goods to prevent shortages and production delays.
Purchase Order Management:Prepare, process, and track purchase orders (POs) and ensure all orders comply with organizational policies and procedures.
Contract Management:Assist in the development and management of vendor contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are followed and resolving any issues as they arise.
Cost Control & Budget Management:Work within allocated budgets and recommend cost-saving initiatives or process improvements in purchasing to enhance financial efficiency.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, as well as external regulations and industry standards. Verify that all purchased goods meet quality specifications.
Reporting & Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed records of all purchasing transactions, generate reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
Problem Resolution:Address and resolve any procurement-related issues, such as late deliveries, defective goods, or invoice discrepancies, in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Cross-Department Collaboration:Work closely with other departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Production) to align purchasing decisions with operational needs and strategic goals.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
No prior experience required; we welcome recent graduates!
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Working experience in Supply Chain Management & Purchasing of E&E manufacturing industry would be an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
