2nd sourcesManages medium to very high complexity projectsGuides the specialist departments as part of project managementRepresents purchasing in product creation process from kick-off onwardsParticipates in Simultaneous Engineering teams, coordinates SE work at the supplierInitiates and implements concept competitionsHolds of and participates in technical supplier discussionsParticipates & answers questions in Quality Gate Customer for purchase appraisalsSupervises of series production until EOPFeedbacks of series experience / lessons learned into SE processCoordinates change management on the purchasing sideCoordinates & drive RPP function on purchasing side, participate in RPP teamsProvides input of Business Unit (BU) localization strategy to purchasing strategyEscalates critical topics on own responsibility and works out solutions before escalation to supervisorSupport Start-up activities to secure safe launchQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent field with 5 -10 years experienceSpecialist in Project Management (new product launches, RPP projects, supplier projects)Specialist in Products and systems know-howSpecialist in Quality basics and standards, Environmental standards, Quality planning, release process, engineering change management and special releases; production and testing of supplied partsCompetent in Production planning of supplied parts & understanding of BPS system approach (from Purchasing perspective)Competent in Purchasing basics (Supply Chain Manual, Purchasing Methods, technical and commercial and TTM evaluation)Competent in enhanced Purchasing Methods (RPP, concept competition, TLG, Target Costing)Competent in IT tool knowledge (SAP, Pilum, SRM, IQS)Competent in controlling in Purchasing (BP process, MCR, TCR, EWAK budgeting, RPP, material costing)Competent in cross functional knowledge, Reference Procurement Process, Logistic processes and standardsStriving for continuous improvement (CIP)Good presentation and communication skills.Additional InformationLeave Entitlement eg: Annual Leave, Medical Leave and etcCompany Insurances and etc
