SNJ Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented QA/QC Executive (Project site) to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur.
As a key member of our construction project delivery group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout our projects.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction initiatives, contributing your expertise in quality assurance and control processes.
You will be responsible for overseeing quality control measures, conducting site inspections, and liaising with project stakeholders to uphold our commitment to excellence.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects
Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, and relevant standards
Conduct regular site visits and inspections, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation for quality compliance
Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and coordinate resolutions
Maintain detailed records of quality control activities and prepare comprehensive reports
Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality management systems and procedures
Provide training and guidance to project team members on quality best practices
What we're looking for
At least a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry
Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality control processes
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and standards
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think critically
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards
Knowledge of relevant construction and safety regulations, as well as quality management systems
