As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our marine products, contributing to the success and growth of our company.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing quality assurance and control procedures to maintain high standards across all production processes
Conducting regular inspections, testing, and evaluations of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to identify and address any quality issues
Analysing data and generating reports to track quality performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related problems
Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and internal policies
Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices
Continuously researching and proposing new quality assurance techniques and technologies to enhance our processes
Handling HACCP, GMP, HALAL, MESTI certification and compliances.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
Thorough understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control, and quality improvement methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work with a keen eye for identifying and addressing quality issues
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as HACCP, GMP, MESTI, HALAL, GACC
Experience in Fishery & Marine Industry will be an added advantage
Proficient in using quality control tools and software
