Job Responsibilities : Responsible for the overall performance of the QA/QC operations and lead a team of Quality Inspectors to uphold the quality standard in accordance to the company's quality system and to ensure product quality meets customer specifications.Liaise with production and other departments for quality issues, control non-conforming products and ensure preventive and corrective actions taken.Developing and maintaining a systematic approach for SOPs, records, product specifications and implementing process strategies.Lead quality meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality or combined formula for problematic lots.Liaise with customers on quality issues and coordinate internal's corrective and preventive actions.Oversee the quality functions including Incoming, In-process, Out-going and customer satisfactions.Lead a team of QC Inspectors to perform daily tasks effectively.Drive and handle quality improvement activities and execute continuous improvement actions as and when required.Prepare relevant quality reports for management review.Monitors and maintains measuring and monitoring equipment calibration issues and to ensure calibration records are up-to-date.Ensure the processes needed for the quality, environmental and occupational health & safety system are established, implemented and maintained.Responsible to maintain the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Standard, 5S activities, Safety, Health and Environmental procedures in work areas and departments or on equipment operations.To support and participate in all the internal/external audits that related to quality, safety and environment. Liaise with external parties such as DOE & etc that related to quality, safety and environmental matters.Support for inventory stock take by monthly basis.Manage QA/QC budgets and track spending to ensure cost-effective practices.Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time. Requirements : Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.At least five (5) years of working experience in manufacturing industry and three (3) years of experience in QA/QC & familiar with ISO 9001:2015.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and familiar with ERP system & quality management software tools will be an added advantage.Able to work independently under minimum supervision to meet critical deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standard of quality.Proficient in data analysis, 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis.Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English and able to speak & read Mandarin for ease of communication with China counterparts.Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
