Job Responsibilities
To perform tests, inspections and evaluations on in-process products, finished products, research and development samples, aging stock, and production activities in accordance with the quality plan.
To perform routine physical and product performance analysis on in-process products and finished products according to SOPs.
To ensure quality control testing for in-process and finished products are completed in a timely manner with prompt data entry and reporting.
To conduct verification checks on laboratory equipment status prior to use.
To ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment.
To maintain cleanliness in the workplace and laboratory and adhere to proper waste disposal procedures.
To attend to all quality and food safety matters in daily operations.
To maintain good housekeeping of in-house laboratory and workplace.
To assist in regular laboratory waste disposal arrangements.
To participate in Quality Audits conducted by internal or external bodies.
To perform duties in compliance with ISO22000, HACCP, and GMP.
To participate in non-conformance investigations related to rejections and deviations.
To assist in investigation and root cause analysis.
To participate in Quality Improvement Plans for continual improvement in quality systems, products, and services.
To engage in company activities pertaining to training, employee activity, firefighting, safety, and health.
To support department KPIs and work as a team to achieve overall company quality objectives.
To provide on-the-job training for new joiners.
To make recommendations for improvement on testing methods.
To address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
To conduct and perform QC testing while keeping good records and filing of every batch of production.
To control and minimize wastage and defects to achieve high-quality products in all manufacturing processes.
To undertake job-related tasks as assigned by superiors or management.
To perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time.
