Job Responsibilities : To liaise with customers' Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE), Research & Development (R&D) engineers, and Manufacturing engineers to establish outgoing inspection standards and criteria for fabricated parts.To assist with new product introduction, support and manage pre-production trial runs and first off sample approvals. To manage Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) operations. ensuring adherence to inspection standards, criteria, and optimal usage and maintenance of metrology equipment.To manage incoming inspection activities to prevent shipment delays caused by inspection or disposition issues.To provide training to QA inspectors on quality control processes and best practices.To conduct sampling inspections and select appropriate tools for inspection based on engineering drawings.To initiate, manage, and update the Methodology Equipment Master List, assigning unique identification numbers to each item.To ensure traceability for each piece of metrology equipment through controlled numbering or equivalent systems.To manage and maintain a list of approved Calibration Service Providers for calibration tasks.To drive continuous quality improvement efforts to meet or exceed customer quality assurance standards.To collaborate with the Engineering department to establish and implement effective quality control plans and systems.To review engineering drawings to ensure operational capability aligns with specified requirements.To support corporate initiatives and assigned projects to enhance overall quality performance.To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management as needed. Requirements : Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering field or an equivalent qualification. Able to work independently & under fast moving environment. Possess some technical knowledge of Fab parts and also metrology equipment. Possessing knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), the 7 QC Tools, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is an added advantage. Preferably with the capability to read and interpret engineering drawing. Possess technical knowledge of electrical equipment/ CNC machining & Sheet Metal.
