Job Description Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets. Ensure all costs are tracked and managed efficiently to stay within budget.
Estimating: Conduct detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ). To assist the Contracts Manager to carry out pre-contract and post-contract activities.
Project Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and provide detailed reports on project progress and financial performance. Identify and mitigate any financial risks.
Procurement: Assist in the procurement process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and selecting contractors and suppliers.
Valuation: Carry out valuations for interim and final payments. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Communicate project financial status and address any concerns.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers and other team members to ensure accurate cost management and project delivery.
Job Requirement 1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. 8-10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction infrastructure industry. Especially for the Electrical part (C&E)
3. Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Project). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Well communication skills
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

10. Malay, English must be professionally, Mandarin (spoken)
