Job Scope for Quantity Surveyor: Supplier Rate Management:
Regularly research and evaluate corporate rate pricing from suppliers to ensure competitive and cost-effective procurement.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Maintain and nurture strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring their compliance with project specifications and delivery timelines.
Government Project Monitoring:
Continuously monitor and identify relevant government projects, assessing opportunities and aligning bids to meet regulatory and project requirements.
Claims Management and Certification:
Prepare, assess, and validate contractor and subcontractor claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. Manage the certification process for completed works, ensuring timely approval and payment.
Site Inspection and Coordination:
Conduct on-site visits as necessary to assess project progress, verify compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with on-site teams to address any issues.
