Job Overview
As the Regional Business Sales Manager, you will drive growth across the region by achieving annual sales booking targets and fostering exceptional client relationships.
This role demands a strong understanding of materials testing applications, technical acumen, and strategic business management.
You will play a pivotal role in leading the regional sales team and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales booking targets
Proactively prospect, qualify, and engage with potential accounts in the assigned region
Maintain accurate forecasts, customer records, and updates in the sales management system
Effectively translate product features into customer-focused benefits and solutions
Organize and conduct seminars and presentations to influence customer decision-making
Coordinate with the service team to ensure fulfillment of sales commitments
Provide timely order administration details for seamless factory order processing
Maintain and manage company demonstration equipment effectively
Develop strategic plans and submit timely reports as directed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronics, electrical, or materials science engineering
8–10 years of experience in selling capital equipment, materials testing field service, or quality assurance/quality control environments
Proven track record in direct sales techniques, particularly in capital equipment or materials testing instrumentation
Strong technical, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in computer hardware/software, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience managing a business size of USD 5 to 10 million annually
Excellent command of English with the ability to communicate effectively
Regular travelling within Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines required
