We are looking for a Regional Financial Controller to join our Finance team in driving and constantly improving our finance operations to maximize financial efficiency.
\n What You'll Be DoingOversee the entire financial reporting process, including consolidating and delivering key financial data in an accurate and timely fashion and in compliance with local and group requirementsRecommend and spearhead Improvement on the financial reporting processes and cash conversion cycleBrainstorm, execute and lead budget control initiatives, as well as improving on current budget tracking processes and budget varianceBe a subject matter expert in our accounting and auditing, and providing training to internal teams to ensure uniformity and integrity in our financial dataLead our tax planning and compliance with consultants to improve tax efficiencyManage and lead a team of country finance managers in Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam; assist with hiring, and providing training and mentorship to build a world-class finance team Why You Should Join UsWork with a world-class team in one of the top start-ups on LinkedIn where you can create meaningful impact for over 100 million in Southeast AsiaCatapult your career in one of the fastest-growing companies in the regionHave greater autonomy to influence and drive financial systems and processes for world-class operational excellence within the organisation Who Are We Looking ForAt least 8 years of relevant experience, including preferably 5 years of experience in a Big 4 audit firmPossess relevant professional qualifications, such as CA, CPA or ACCAStrong hands-on experience in financial reporting, month- and year-end closing and audit Prior experience in managing tax compliance in key ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam;Strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS; knowledge of the US GAAP will be considered favourablyPrior experience in leading and managing a regional teamProven track record in driving cost or financial reporting process improvementExcellent stakeholder management skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with teams across different time zonesA self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail
