Responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and growth of sustainability services within the Southeast Asia market.
This role encompasses business development, service delivery, client management, and team leadership, with a strong focus on building relationships with local stakeholders.
Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and develop new sustainability service offerings aligned with market trends and client needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies and industry stakeholders.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and tenders for sustainability projects.
Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of sustainability services, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
Build local capacity and expertise through training and knowledge transfer.
Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal teams.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sustainability services team across multiple countries.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
Develop local talent and succession plans.
Industry Engagement: Actively participate in regional sustainability forums, conferences, and initiatives.
Build strong partnerships with local NGOs, academic institutions, and industry experts.
Stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends and policies in the region.
Operational Excellence: Implement effective performance metrics and reporting systems to track the impact of sustainability services.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and Bureau Veritas' policies and procedures.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, sustainability or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years experience in sustainability consulting or related field with a strong focus on Southeast Asia.
Deep understanding of ESG/Sustainability issues and relevant tools, standards, regulations and frameworks Extensive experience working and leading in a team-based environment Strong project management, personnel management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex environment.
Highly motivated and team player Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English Able and willing to travel around the country and overseas.
Excellence Presentation Skill Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
