Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Assist in upkeep and maintenance of Safety Management System documentation.
Check and verify quality of documents uploaded in Docmap and ensure all documents are correctly tagged.
Upkeep of audit records in Vessel Maps and softcopy audit reports for records.
Download audit reports from eAudit application to be reviewed by Vice President and Alternate Company Security Officer.
Print investigation reports.
Assist in extracting data for NC Analysis.
Assist in compiling data for Port State Control feedback information and Port/Security Information.
Assist Alternate Company Security Officer to carry out the SSAS Testing with the vessels.
Assist in preparation for Vessel Specific Plans.
Maintain latest version of books and publications (hardcopies & softcopies).
Filing and Data entry.
Any other duties as may be defined by the Manager.
Accountabilities
Ability to maintain up to date records of activities defined in main responsibility.
Accuracy in updating information.
Initiative to take on additional responsibility.
Initiative to improve work processes and reports.
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements:
Possess at least a Diploma in HSEQ, Maritime, Commerce, or any related field.
Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the shipping industry, preferably with HSEQ background.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Detail-oriented and strong time management skills.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
Knowledge of company applications.
