mechanical qualification efforts for new products and change in designs, materials, or processes Involve in mechanical reliability test include but not limited to solder joint analysis, environmental test, mechanical stress & solderabilityProviding recommendations on product release based on package reliability test resultsJointly assess risk associated with excursions, conversions, reliability ,qualification issues.Manage reliability schedule plan to stakeholders and provide progress update in timely mannerCoordinate with technician to perform daily execution to meet project scheduleInitiate failure tracker in JIRA and ensure it's properly closedReview Mechanical test result and provide recommendationQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineeringHave mechanical reliability & failure analysis backgroundThorough knowledge of semiconductor component package assembly processes and challengesKnowledge of surface mount processes and challengesUnderstanding of mechanical and material interaction effects on reliability of IC components and/or Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCB) assembliesGood understanding of the effects thermomechanical, thermal, mechanical and hygroscopic swelling stresses on package reliabilityWorking knowledge of industry standard reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics preferredStrong analytical problem solving skills, excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to interact easily with other groupsGood written and verbal communication skills Must be
