Reservation Officer

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**:- Process FIT reservation or group reservation by E-mail, telephone, fax, on-line, web side booking or central reservation system.- Process FIT reservation or group reservation from the sales office, other hotel department & travel agent.- Know the type of room available as well as their location and layout.- Know the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.- Know the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.- Create and maintain reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing.- Determine room rates based on the selling tactics of the hotel.- Prepare letters of confirmation.- Communicate reservation information to the front desk.- Process cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk.**Job Type**: PermanentPay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- On call- Rotational shift- Weekend jobsAbility to commute/relocate:- Putrajaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)**Education**:- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (preferred)**Experience**:- Reservation and/or Front Office: 2 years (required)
