About the roleWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant (Bakery) to join our team at Suanson Specialty Cakes in Kuala Lumpur.
As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our bakery retail outlet.
This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
Providing knowledgeable recommendations on our range of specialty cakes and baked goods
Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions accurately
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the retail space
Restocking and organising product displays
Supporting the bakery team with various tasks as needed
What we're looking for
Experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic numeracy skills and cash handling experience
A genuine interest in baked goods and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
