The Operation teams at Shopee cover the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations, and Fraud.
Job Description:Oversee the analysis of operational data and build models to project future trends, providing actionable insights to guide the Operations team in decision-making and planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies, leading efforts to streamline processes and reduce operational choke points.
Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track projections against actual performance. Ensure that relevant stakeholders have access to real-time data insights for decision-making.
Lead the planning process for major campaigns and holiday periods, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive operations plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and resource availability.
Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations to senior management, highlighting key insights, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts, ensuring the accurate execution of all operational planning and analytics tasks. Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within operations, using data-driven insights to propose innovative solutions and refine processes.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, operations planning, or process optimization.
Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing reports for senior management.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams.
Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
