Ideal candidates for the role should be self-starters and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. A friendly disposition, specifically the innate ability to approach and strike up conversations with clients, is a must, as is an understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
He/She should be hardworking and have a proactive solutions-oriented and hands-on approach in handling customers' requirements. Lastly, he/she should take pride in working in a design-focused environment and show a high degree of interest in establishing a career in the design and luxury retail business.
As a retail sales consultant, you will be strategically nestled to work within inspiring settings of designer furniture, which are all housed in an award-winning architectural showcase that has created a unique presence along Bencoolen Street. You will enjoy opportunities to interact and foster long-term friendships with high-profile, high-powered clients, locally and regionally, tastemakers in the architectural and design field, and international brand suppliers and designers.
Main Responsibilities:
Handle retail responsibilities, including housekeeping, as well as work with the design community to promote the brands.
Responsible for achieving monthly sales targets.
Fulfill all client briefs and enquiries and respond to all quotations required.
Provide feedback on customer preferences and stay independently updated on competitors' products and activities.
Support relevant events by assisting to host clients and guests, and ensure the highest level of showroom presentation.
Requirements:
High degree of interest in design.
Self-starting individual and motivated team player.
Friendly disposition with a good understanding of customer service.
Solutions-oriented and hands-on approach in handling customers' requirements.
Diploma Holder or its equivalent.
Proficient in MS Office.
Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the related field.
PR or Malaysian.
