As theRetail Tech Project Manager,you are responsible for the successful roll out of new retail-related tech capabilities within your region. You support the value streams and the regional functions in rolling out initiatives. You contribute to realizing the full business value from our technical capabilities by ensuring capabilities are in place at the right time with efficiency.
You have a good understanding of business tech products and can share this understanding and create engagement around their business value. You also have a good understanding of BT/retail core processes and associated solutions. You have the ability to design, develop and deliver roll out initiatives to maximize user adoption and effect realization from the product, with strong project management and problem-solving abilities. You are strong in communication, stakeholder and change management and ensure that processes run smoothly and in line with our goals. You are customer-centric and service-minded and have a good understanding of how we operate our stores and meet our customers in stores.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient roll-out of retail technical capabilities by coordinating with regions and functions to align roll-out plans, address regional compliance requirements for capturing business value, and serve as the primary escalation point for business end-users during roll-outs.
Ensure stable tech operations and colleague-focused support in your market/region.
Support countries in product deployment which includes assisting with budgeting, resource allocation, communication, training, and change management.
Participate in driving organizational change to secure the evolution of our physical store portfolio and operating model.
Build a strong collaborative network across sales markets in your region to ensure speed and alignment with the regional implementation plan for the Omni Store Operating Model.
Engage closely with global and regional functions to balance scope, delivery timeline, and cost.
QualificationsTo be successful in the role ofRetail Tech Project Manager,you should have a good understanding of business tech products, and the ability to create understanding and engagement around their business value in your region. You have the ability to design, develop and deliver roll out initiatives to maximize user adoption and effect realization from the product, with strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
What You Need to Succeed:Experience from working in a region/sales market/area/store.
Proficiency in operational understanding of IT-infrastructure services, components, and architecture.
Ability to understand and execute tasks related to various tech infrastructure areas.
Strong communication, stakeholder, and change management skills within an international and diverse context.
Strong organizational skills to ensure processes are running smoothly and in line with common goals.
Ability to engage and commit others to contribute to the roll-out and change efforts.
Ability to quality assure larger releases efficiently (including test/acceptance routines).
Additional InformationThis is a full-time position, based in Malaysia and reporting to the Regional Retail Tech & Operation Manager.
