Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedRMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Associate Managerto oversee the RMA process, manage technical support and repair functions, and lead a team to ensure timely and efficient resolutions to RMA requests. The RMA Associate Manager will play a key role in maintaining technical standards, managing repair projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:Oversee the technical aspects of RMA operations, ensuring proper maintenance, repair, and testing of returned products. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of computer and electronic components to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Project Management:Manage multiple RMA repair and testing projects concurrently, ensuring all work is completed on time and within resource constraints. Set project milestones, track progress, and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
Communication:Effectively communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to provide technical support and updates on RMA progress. Explain technical issues clearly and provide concise instructions to team members and external partners.
Problem-Solving:Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems that arise during the RMA process. Develop and implement effective strategies for resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
People Management:Lead and manage a team of RMA associates, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure high performance. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and improve operational efficiency.
Process Improvement:Continuously assess and improve RMA processes and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Training & Development:Provide training and development opportunities for team members, ensuring they remain up-to-date with technical skills and company policies.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a technical certification in electronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in RMA repair and technical support, with a preference for experience as a test technician in the computer manufacturing or electronics industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across departments.
In-depth knowledge of computer and electronic components and devices, with expertise in their testing, inspection, and repair.
Strong ability to analyze complex technical issues, develop effective solutions, and implement strategies for resolution.
Proven experience in managing, coaching, and motivating a team to achieve high standards of performance and productivity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-standard software tools for tracking and reporting RMA cases.
