An RTR (Record to Report) accountant is responsible for managing the financial closing process, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Description
Prepare journals, reconciliation reports, and accounting analysis to ensure transaction completeness and accuracy, in line with the process handbook, DTP, and Closing Cockpit requirements (e.g., timelines, quality checklist).
Ensure effective and efficient execution of closing activities, adhering to the closing schedule.
Any deviations must be properly documented and approved if they are necessary for business reasons.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures to maintain the integrity of financial information.
Manage issues within and across processes, conducting root cause analysis as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR process to drive productivity, strengthen controls, and support process standardization.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Global Process Manager, and Performance Improvement Team to regularly review end-to-end processes, identifying necessary changes and improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
Report to and work alongside the Team Lead and key internal stakeholders, including the Global Headquarters, Local Management, and Lines of Business.
Profile
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent CPA/MIA certification.
At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in Accounting, Finance, or SSC RTR operations.
Proficient in financial and accounting tools such as SAP, COUPA, FIORI, Business Intelligence SAP Analytics, as well as operational systems like MS Office, Google Workspace, Concur, etc.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in other languages being an advantage.
