Responsibility To establish and enforce occupational safety and health guidelines/ policies including emergency/incident action plans, to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standardsTo initiate and organize employee occupational safety and health programs to educate employees about potential hazards and safety guideline. SHO may conduct workshops, seminars, or online training sessions to ensure that employees are aware of safety guidelines /policies and can respond effectively in emergency situations. Be an advisor and collaborate with the Management and employees to promote awareness, encourage safe behaviors, and create a positive safety culture where everyone takes responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. Responsible for inspecting, monitoring and evaluating hazards and unsafe or illegal conditions at the workplace to achieve hazard-free condition. To investigate, collect and analyst data to produce statistics on any accidents, near misses, dangerous incidents, occupational poisoning or diseases that occur in the workplace. Regularly review emergency or incident action plans to improve efficiency. Inspecting the workplace to determine and ensure the operation, handling, equipment, material, storage and transportation of substance including the process, which may cause bodily injury to any person working at the workplace in good condition and safe. To maintain the safe workplace without risks to health including means of safe access and egress. To prepare, present and discuss with the Management on the monthly reports on occupational safety and health. The report must include: any action that needs to be taken by the employer to comply with the requirements of the Act or any regulations made under the ActTo prepare the workplace safety and health plan and documentation for tender submission.To collaborate and execute on an existing project and future incoming project that is related. Shall assist team at the project site when necessary. To carry out any other instructions made by the Management or any person responsible for the workplace on any matter related to workplace safety and health.As per Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and other requirements compliance.To carry out functional safety management work such as control, monitor, enforce, implement, coordinate, maintain and improve Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental related matters.Liaise with regulatory bodies (DOSH, BOMBA, JKKP etc.) to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.As a Safety and Health Committee to prepare, organize, and filling those documents, notices, notifications, minutes that are relevant to safety matters.Requirement Education Level : Registered Safety & Health Officer with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH).STPM / Diploma holder in any field.Working experience in manufacturing field is an added advantage.Years of Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HR experience including Recruitment, Payroll, HR Policies & Procedures and Office Management. Experienced in an Manufacturing Industry is an advantage. Language : Well-versed with Malaysian Labor Laws Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures.Skills: Well-versed with Malaysian Labor LawsKnowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures.
