Job Summary
- To lead the role of promoting changes in the customer experience and cash to order process of Vale International's iron ore sales business through digitalization and innovation. Having a customer centric mindset, the leader shall supervise the order to cash process of Vale International's iron ore sales business to international markets excluding China, focusing on the invoicing process and staff qualification, to ensure the management of all functions that contribute to an accurate and expedient customer service related to post-sales, through direct supervision of a sales administration team and following strict adherence to corporate governance and compliance policies.
- To lead the continued development of current tools that support sales administration processes (CRM and Operation Desk/Sales Management), as well as support the development of SAP enhancements, providing insights to improve systems architecture aiming more efficient, user-friendly and automated processes towards the management of cash to order.
Main Responsabilities:
· Supervise elaboration of sales contracts, terms and agreements for iron ore sales, engaging diverse internal stakeholders to elaborate and/or influence contractual document elaboration, such as shipping, credit risk, legal, accounting etc…
· Assist on the supervision of the invoicing process and issuance of shipping documents, adjustments and other related post-sales processes, ensuring compliance with contractual terms with a focus on customer satisfaction and the efficient performance of the Company.
· Ensure the adherence of commercial processes to corporate guidelines in relation to the Sarbanes-Oxley law (SARBOX).
· Ensure compliance with the Vale's Corporate Governance through knowledge and accomplishment of its obligations.
· Deliver strategic recommendations (initiatives) to support the sales administration business plan of iron ore.
· Train qualified professionals for commercial functions, inclusive of succession planning, contributing for a transparent work environment, fair and ethical based on meritocracy.
· Identification of internal enhancements and opportunities to the business, defining processes and simplifications and integration of existing systems. Liaise with the management about such enhancements and opportunities, implementing them for sales management and billing activities, ensuring assertiveness and compliance in the process "Order to Cash", optimizing a highest/fastest cash flow of the business.
· Support culture change across Commercial area, providing guidance and coaching where necessary.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. Experience:
>5 years experience in commodity business (desirable iron ore or manganese or coal)
>2 years experience in elaborating and/or amending sales contracts
Desirable experience in IT and in training people
2. Education:
Bachelor's Degree (business or technical), desirable Post-Graduate or MBA
3. Specific knowledge:
Well versed in MS office, knowledge in SAP, CRM, powerbi, desirable VBA/VBS/SAP scripting and coding in general
Language:
Fluent English, desirable fluent Portuguese
