Sales and Business Development Manager APAC (Malaysia) 05 May 2023 EverZinc is looking to reinforce its APAC team with a Sales and Business Development Manager
SUMMARY The Sales & Business Development Manager develops business for facilities by creating and maintaining customer relationships that enhance customer confidence, communication and desires to continue to expand all aspects of business with the division. Manages direct sales, distributor/agent sales within the APAC region. This position is based in Malaysia.
YOUR ROLE Develop and implement business plan. Make sales calls on current accounts and potential new business opportunities. Formulate and prepares quotes on business from existing and/or new customers, and works with management to identify the best business mix and volume with assigned facilities. Negotiate contracts with new/existing customers and monitors facility performance concerning such contracts to ensure timely achievement of processing commitments to customers. Perform sales penetration planning which includes an analysis of competitive products and selling techniques, consumer research, marketing legislation, sales budgets, quotas, pricing and distribution. Liaise and establish relationship with internal and external parties. Maintain profile on customers and distributors. Communicate clearly and effectively the progress of performance targets, the insights of the market analysis and make necessary recommendations to the management YOUR PROFILE You have between 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in chemical, metal, manufacturing related industry Problem solving and analytical thinking mindset with strong attention to details You have experience working with senior decision makers, able to convince Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents True team player, able to work with various teams to reach your objectives You are fluent in English & Malay. Other Asia language (Mandarin, Thai, Japanese, etc) is an advantage SAP expertise, Microsoft & advanced Excel skills Excellent presentation, planning, organizational and time management skills Familiar with industrial processes Want to know more about this exciting opportunity?
