The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our market presence and achieve revenue targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.Prepare customer proposals.Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure alignment on customer requirements and product offerings.Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and strategic plans to senior management.Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and network with potential clients.Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.Provide ongoing support and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge of products and market trends.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the oil and gas or manufacturing industry.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong understanding of the oil and gas supply chain and market dynamics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
