LVI Materials Limited is a joint venture between Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia principally engaged in branding, manufacturing, and distribution of petrochemical products. We would like to hire a talented Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. This position will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies, optimizing pricing models, identifying new market opportunities, involving in direct sales activities, and driving business growth together with cross-functional (technical service, innovation, and supply chain) teams. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong leadership skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMarketing Strategy Development/Implementation:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to LVI Materials Ltd. plastic and elastomer compounding products and overall corresponding market. Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights within the industry.
Pricing Strategy:Develop and optimize pricing models to maximize profitability and market share. Conduct pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning. Implement pricing adjustments based on market dynamics, cost changes, and customer feedback.
Business Development:Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances within the target market. Deliver business development success by coordinating with internal resource owners. Negotiate and close deals with potential clients and partners, ensuring long-term business relationships.
Sales Channel Management:Identify, develop, and manage various sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and online platforms. Monitor and optimize the performance of sales channels to ensure effective market coverage and revenue growth.
Marketing Campaign Management:Plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and trade events. Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to create and distribute high-impact marketing materials. Develop and manage content for promotional materials, presentations, and sales tools tailored to industry needs.
Market Research and Analysis:Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new opportunities and potential customer segments in the plastic and elastomer compounding industry. Analyze market data, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to inform marketing and market development strategies.
Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a respectful, collaborative, and innovative environment. Ensure that the marketing team's efforts are aligned with broader business objectives and market development goals.
Brand Management:Ensure that all marketing materials and communications consistently reflect the brand's identity and messaging across all platforms. Provide brand guidelines and training to internal teams and external partners to maintain consistency. Represent LVI Materials Ltd. as a subject matter expert in external conferences, symposiums, seminars, and trade shows.
Performance Monitoring:Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing and market development initiatives. Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommending improvements.
Product and Service Adaptation:Provide feedback to product development teams to adapt offerings to meet market demands. Ensure that the company's products and services are competitively positioned in the market.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with product development and other internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing, pricing, and market development efforts. Liaise with external partners, such as industry associations, to optimize marketing activities.
Strategic Client Relationships:Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients and key industry stakeholders. Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow business with major clients. Regularly meet with major clients to understand their needs and identify new business opportunities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducational Background:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA) are a plus.
Experience:Proven experience in market development, business development, and sales roles within the plastic and elastomer compounding industry. Strong track record of successful campaign management, pricing optimization, and business development in a technical or industrial setting. Experience in managing sales channels and building strategic client relationships.
Technical Skills:Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize pricing strategies. Technical understanding of plastic and elastomer compounding processes and products.
Soft Skills:Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
