Job DescriptionSupport overall Finance and Accounts matters.
Manage the full set of management accounts and ensure compliance with regulations.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, creditors, debtors, government authorities, and other relevant parties on financial and accounting matters.
Perform additional ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned by the superior.
Review and analyze financial results, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, system enhancement, and analyzing organizational operations.
Oversee the company's accounting and financial functions, including taxation, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, variance analysis, and the development of improvements.
Design, plan, implement, and improve accounting and financial policies and procedures.
Handle the full set of accounts and be responsible for month-end and year-end financial closing activities, journal postings, and the prompt submission of relevant reports to management.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly management reports.
Supervise and manage the staff in the Accounts Department.
Job RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in the Retail Fashion & Accessories industry.
Self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility, independence, meticulousness, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
Mandarin proficiencyis required, both in speaking and reading.
Proficiency in accounting standards, statutory requirements, and tax compliance will be an added advantage.
Computer literate, with knowledge of MYOB being an added advantage.
Availability to attend company meetings, trainings, and other ad-hoc activities.
