Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth.Establish goals and monitor progress toward achieving sales targets.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.Collaborate with the Strategic Business Director to align sales initiatives with the company's overall business goals. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Lead the identification and acquisition of new clients, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.Negotiate contracts, closing deals that align with Basis Bay's business and financial objectives.Represent Basis Bay at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and build client networks. Sales Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and expectations.Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team.Ensure the team's activities are aligned with company goals and that each member meets their individual targets. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing team to drive lead generation efforts and create marketing materials that support sales goals.Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts to the executive team.Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery for new clients. • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the IT, cloud services, or data center industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
• Experience managing high-level client relationships and negotiating large-scale contracts.
