About the role
As the Sales Engineer, Commercial Applied for Carrier, you'll be involved in managing sales and business activities in Northern Malaysia and lead outside sales activities to ensure operational plans and objectives are met. You will be responsible for making significant improvements to processes and standards to enhance the performance of the outside sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the establishment and development of professional relationships with strategic prospects for better understanding and meeting customer needs within the bounds of contracted scope.
Coordinate business development activities for prospects to support the business strategy defined by leadership.
Analyze bid opportunities, prepare final bid responses with the team, negotiate with potential customers, and maintain customer relationships to win projects.
Contact potential prospects to discuss their needs, explaining how these needs could be met by specific products and services to create a new client base and increase sales.
Conduct product presentations and workshops. Educate prospects and advise on the product line, addressing resistance to develop business.
Support the management team representative on target accounts or territories. Maintain personal pipeline and customer log.
Hunt for new opportunities.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Equipment sales & solutions.
Business Development in HVAC sales and service.
Project execution and solution selling experience.
Focus on Sustainability.
Understanding of Application, Energy, Mechanical controls, and HVAC Industry.
Willing to be based at Bayan Lepas, Penang.
