The role undertakes the responsibility, accountability and corresponding authority to spearhead and manage the sales portfolio and business development of the Company's product portfolio in Penang state. These include budgets, plans, policies, new business activities and programs to achieve the short and medium term strategic, financial and operating objectives of the business, under the direction and guidance of the Sales Manager / General Manager.ResponsibilitiesJobholder is responsible to initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities in the assigned region for the range of Company's products and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company.
Jobholder is responsible to:
Develops the business plans and activities and coordinates sales & marketing strategies to meet business objectives and achieving maximum results.
Continually evaluates the sales & marketing strategies and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions. He shall direct, guide and coordinate the efforts of the team to ensure accomplishment of the overall business objectives.
Undertake industry and product segment training for the sales team, with the objective of imparting knowledge about the industry, customers' base and focus, in-depth knowledge about the products and its applications, including solutions selling.
Required qualificationsDegree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with more than 3 years' experience in industry sales for EMS/CM, building and industrial automation; or Diploma in the same discipline with more than 5 years' experience.
Related sales experience in similar industry is required.
Good presentation, communication skills and able to work independently.
High energy, motivating, and possess team building skills.
Self-reliant, work with minimum supervision.
Solid foundation in technology – computer skills and CRM experience a plus.
