Sales & Application Engineer (Remote Monitoring-Cathodic Protection System)
To promote and sell the remote monitoring devices and system subscription for Cathodic Protection (CP) system.Developing high value applications, tracking consumer needs, and training customers as well as the own sales team on the product knowledge and product applications.To generate sales revenue for the Company and to ensure meeting the annual sales target. Accountabilities: Generate revenue by proposing our specialized products and the system solution to customers.Perform product presentation, demonstration, proof of concept and other pre-sales activities.Ensuring that product offerings and functionalities are aligned with consumer needs.Performing application installations, updates, and aftermarket support services.Training customer on product application and operation.Supporting clients with application installations, system optimization, and troubleshooting.Improving application functionality by incorporating client feedback.Reviewing product specifications and analyzing competitor behavior.Evaluate prospective company products' application and provide solutions on basis of customer needs.Review customer specifications and develop complete technical and commercial proposals.Work with product principal and vendors on product selection, material cost estimation along with attain pricing quotations for all sub-contracting work (if any).Regularly meet customers to develop and maintain relations and follow up on leads.Identify and develop within customers new opportunities.Any other related duties and when assigned by management. Engineering background and experience in CP system with knowledge of industrial automation / instrument and control sector. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering or equivalent.Preferably with related CP personnel certification under NACE. Knowledge
Excellent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Power Point).Extensive experience in CP system for underground pipeline, tanks farm, marine structure, onshore and offshore facilities, etc. will be an added advantage.Exceptional ability to drive application innovation by analyzing consumer and competitor trends.Ability to analyze client problems and propose a cost-effective solution and functionality.Proficiency in providing clients with technical product and services support.Must possess a strong technical background and the ability to discuss complex technical requirements with customers.Skills
