Sound Environment Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Engineer (Solar) to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our solar energy solutions business. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with our customers and contribute to the company's goals of promoting sustainable energy practices.
What you'll be doing Identifying and securing new business opportunities for our solar energy products and servicesProviding technical expertise and guidance to customers on the selection, design, and installation of solar energy systemsPreparing detailed proposals, quotations, and technical specifications to meet customer requirementsCollaborating with the project management and installation teams to ensure smooth project deliveryGenerating and maintaining sales pipeline and forecasting dataStaying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changesRepresenting the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meeting What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in Solar PV industry and/or electrical and mechanical industry related to sales and/or engineeringField experience in installation, start-up testing and commissioning will be an added advantageExcellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with customers and stakeholdersSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionWilling to travel and be based at project site (if required)Good English & Bahasa Malaysia communication skillsProficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
