Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate, wedding, and event markets.
Conduct sales calls, site visits, and presentations to prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
Manage client accounts and ensure all details of events are accurately documented.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
Work closely with the banquet and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all client specifications are met.
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns to attract potential clients.
Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to increase visibility and awareness of banquet facilities.
Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and promote the venue.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the banquet sales budget.
Monitor sales performance and generate regular reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the catering, kitchen, and service teams to ensure successful event execution.
Provide training and support to junior sales staff as needed.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in banquet sales, event planning, or a related role.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working at Pudu, 5.5 days working per week.
