Job Overview:
Territory Coverage
Regions : Central, Northern, & Southern
Divisions : Sales personnel may join any division based on their past experiences.
Division A : Metalworking workshops & factories - covering CNC machining services.
Division B : Construction companies & contractors - covering earth moving & pile manufacturers.
Division C : Automotive & motorcycle division - covering spare parts shops, workshops, motorcycle shops, tyre & battery shops.
Division D : Hardware machinery inclusive of power tools, metal-cutting workshops.
Division E : Marine Division - consisting of marine outboard centres, fishing boats owners and repairers etc.
Responsibilities
Recruit new customers in assigned territory.
Maximize product availability and distribution.
Ensure routing, plans, and call frequency patterns are maximized to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Improve product visibility within the assigned territory.
Ensure POSM placement at strategic locations.
Analysis
Analyze market data in the assigned area to identify opportunities for increasing sales efficiency.
Prepare and implement an action plan to address variances to targets and optimize opportunities identified.
Establish, strengthen, and maintain trade partnerships with customers.
Build up a rapport with both existing and new customers.
Frequent visits which enable interactions for better trade relationships.
Ensure monthly sales targets are achieved.
Provide input and feedback to Sales Manager in order to increase efficiency and reliability of sales volume.
Market intelligence and reporting.
Monitor and analyze all relevant market information in order to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the area which supports business decisions.
Ensure that market information and update feedback to Sales Manager on market trends in sales and availability as well as competitor activities.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/'O' Level, Bachelor's Degree, any field.
Experience in Metalworking/Contractors with Heavy Machineries/Automotive/Motorcycle Batteries Sales would be an added advantage.
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably senior executives specializing in sales - retail/general or equivalent.
