The position of Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for the company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining client relationships, grow and manage sales and distribution, ensure products are effectively displayed and promoted in retail environments to maximize sales and achieving sales targets.
The key responsibilities of Sales Executive include:
Store Visits
-Regularly visiting retail stores to assess merchandising quality.
-Check stock levels and prompt order to ensure sufficient levels.
-Ensure products are arranged logically and are easy for customers to find.
-Ensure effective implementation of promotions POSMs and activities.
-Train store staff on product features and benefits to help them better sell.
-Providing feedback / issues to management team.
Prospecting and Lead Generation
-Identify and research potential clients and markets.
-Generate leads through various channels i.e cold calling, outlet visits, networking and digital outreach.
Sales Process Management
-Plan and prepare proposals, quotations, promotional activities and displays.
-Collaborate with retail partners to develop promo strategies to increase sales.
-Work with marketing team to communicate promotional efforts through online and offline platforms.
-Plan, organize and coordinate events, trade shows and collabs with brands.
-It is compulsory to attend and oversee all events. Expenses will be covered.
Sales Analytics
-Track sales data and report on trends, sales performance, and inventory levels.
-Monitoring and analysing each promotional strategies with retailers.
-Monitor competitor products and pricing to make recommendations for competitive positioning.
-Stay updated on consumer trends, preferences, and feedback to adapt merchandising strategies.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including contacts and opportunities.
-Prepare regular reports for management on sales metrics and achievements.
-Providing sales report with insights, customer feedback, learnings and recommendations.
-Working with Buyers / Client Management
-Work with retail partners to ensure stores carry the right quantity and mix of products.
-Communicating with buyers on pricing, product quality, delivery schedules and trade terms.
-Offer and provide marketing support to buyers e.g. POSMs, promos, sampling, activations, training.
-Negotiate shelf positioning, promotional displays, and pricing to enhance product visibility.
-Regularly follow up and build strong relationships with clients on product quality, service, order etc.
-Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.

-Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or any business-related field.
-At least 2 years of relevant sales experience in B2B Sales, Marketing or Business Development (experience in the retail / FMCG is a bonus).
-Strong negotiation, analytical, organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
-Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
-Good commercial acumen and relationship management.
-Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
-Proficient verbal communication skills in Bahasa and Mandarin.
